Choose the style of mahjong you mean

The word mahjong can describe very different games. Mahjong solitaire is a tile-removal puzzle for one player. Traditional multiplayer mahjong uses hands, turns, draws and discards. Mahjong Clearer belongs to the solitaire type.

In this game, matching faces are necessary, but position matters too. A tile needs an uncovered top and an open left or right side. Work through the illustrated rules, then practice looking for moves that expose the next layer.
