Parking Car Jam guide: safe exits and smarter move order
Clearing the nearest car is not always the move that opens the car park. Parking Car Jam is an order-of-moves puzzle with an extra timing decision once the officer appears. Read the route before you commit to an exit.
How to play Parking Car Jam
Drag a car forward or backward along its length. If its path is clear, it leaves the parking lot. Clear every car to complete the level. You can also click a car and use the arrow keys to move it along its direction.
The car’s orientation limits its movement. A horizontal car does not slide sideways into a convenient vertical opening, and a vertical car does not turn around a corner. Follow the direction it can actually travel, then inspect the full route out.

Untangle a parking jam from the outside in
Find cars with a clear exit and compare what they block. Removing one car may free several others; removing another may change almost nothing. A useful first move is often the one that exposes a busy route through the lot.
If car A cannot leave because of B, inspect B’s own route. If B is blocked by C, continue until you find a car that can move safely. Work backward through that chain. Recheck each route after a departure because a second obstacle may still remain.
The two kinds of collision are different
Hitting another car costs one chance. Three collisions end the round. From level five, a police officer patrols the road; hitting the officer ends the round immediately. Do not treat the officer as another obstacle you can afford to bump once.
A route can be free of parked cars but unsafe at the moment you start moving. Once you have decided which vehicle can leave, also check the officer’s position. Wait for a clear exit rather than letting a good unblocking move turn into an avoidable collision.
A three-car plan with a timing check
Suppose C can leave, B can leave only after C, and A can leave only after B. Your order is C, B, A. That is the spatial plan. If the officer is crossing C’s exit, wait before starting C; the correct move order does not remove the timing requirement.
After C departs, inspect B again rather than dragging immediately from memory. The road and the patrol may have changed while the previous car was moving. Keep these two checks separate: is the route unblocked, and is it safe now?
Undo, hints and the daily parking puzzle
Undo reverses a move, Hint finds a possible exit, and Restart begins the attempt again. Use Undo to study how the lot changed when that option is available. A hint helps find a route, but you still need to read the current situation before sending a car out.
The game also offers a daily puzzle. Apply the same direction, blockage and timing checks rather than expecting the level map’s last solution to carry over. Success comes from a safe sequence of departures, not from how rapidly you drag the cars.
Common questions
Can a car move sideways?
No. Move it forward or backward along its length.
How many collisions are allowed?
Three collisions with other cars end a round. Hitting the officer ends it immediately.
When does the officer appear?
The published instructions introduce the patrol from level five.
