About Bubble Shooter

Play Bubble Shooter online free. Aim and bank colored bubbles, match groups of three and drop floating clusters before new rows fill the board.

How to play Bubble Shooter

Aim above the launcher with your mouse or finger, then release or tap to shoot. The shot bounces off the left and right walls. Match three or more touching bubbles of the same color to remove them. Bubbles no longer connected to the top drop as well.

Every matched or dropped bubble scores 100 points. The small bubble beside the launcher shows the next color; there is no swap control.

The board starts with seven filled rows on a 15-column hexagonal grid. Each group of five unmatched shots adds a new row and shifts the grid down. Successful matches do not reset the unmatched-shot counter.

Clear every bubble to finish the board. Any bubble in the bottom row ends the game immediately, even if a possible match is there. Tap or click the board after Game Over to start a fresh random board.

Save preserves the complete bubble grid, current and next colors, score, row offset, unmatched-shot counter and any shot/drop animation already in progress. Guest checkpoints stay in this browser; supported signed-in FoolFish sessions can sync them.

This is a classic single-board survival game with no numbered campaign levels, timer, undo, special power-up bubbles or remote multiplayer.

Play Bubble Shooter online free. Aim and bank colored bubbles, match groups of three and drop floating clusters before new rows fill the board.

This classic browser bubble game uses Rembound’s actual playable Web source and original seven-color bubble sprites. It is a survival-style board with a score, a next-bubble preview and no countdown.

How to aim and shoot bubbles

Move the pointer above the launcher and release to fire. On a phone or tablet, tap a position on the board or drag to aim and lift your finger. The launcher points between 8 and 172 degrees, so every shot travels upward.

Shots bounce against the side walls. A bank shot can approach a bubble group from a side angle. The original collision code uses round bubbles and then snaps a stopped bubble into its hexagonal grid slot.

Match three bubbles and drop floating clusters

A touching group of at least three bubbles of one color pops after your shot joins it. Matching does not require a straight line: the native grid checks all six neighboring positions around each bubble.

A successful pop can disconnect other colors from the top of the board. Those unsupported clusters fall and score too. Remove a narrow supporting group when you can drop several bubbles beneath it.

New rows, missed shots and the bottom boundary

The starting board has 15 columns and seven filled rows, with 14 total row positions. Each fifth shot that does not make a match shifts the bubbles down and adds a fresh top row. The added colors are chosen from colors still present on the board.

A matching shot does not reset earlier unmatched shots. Watch the miss counter in the accessible board description, and avoid pushing bubbles into the final row. The original rules check that bottom row before removing a newly formed match there.

Bubble Shooter score and next color

Every directly matched bubble gives 100 points; each falling bubble also gives 100 points. Clearing a three-bubble match and dropping two additional bubbles therefore adds 500 points.

The small bubble beside the main launcher shows the next color. A new next color is selected from colors still on the board. This edition has no right-click swap or special bomb, ice, stone or rainbow bubbles.

Finish a board or start a new bubble game

Clearing every bubble ends the board, and the status below the game confirms that it was cleared. A bubble reaching the bottom also ends the board. The original Canvas shows Game Over for both outcomes; the platform records a clear as a win and a bottom-row ending as a loss.

Tap or click the board after the ending screen to start a new random board and reset the score. This edition does not contain a numbered level campaign or a limited-shot puzzle map. Each new board uses the original random color-group generator.

Mouse controls and mobile bubble shooting

The original 628-by-628 Canvas scales to the available width. Pointer coordinates are mapped back into that Canvas, keeping the 15-column board and the launcher’s aiming calculation unchanged on a smaller screen.

The original source has no music or sound effects. There is no timer: take time to inspect the current color, the next bubble and the group you want to reach before releasing a shot.

Save a bubble board and explore more matching games

Save keeps the original grid plus all current and next shot data, score, miss count and staggered-row offset. A checkpoint taken during a shot or falling-cluster animation restores that same snapshot and resumes the native animation.

Guest progress stays in the same browser. A supported signed-in FoolFish account can sync a checkpoint between devices; competing device saves require an explicit choice. A new random color after resuming follows the original random distribution, rather than a promised fixed daily seed. Browse more puzzle games or compare the sibling edition below.

Common questions

How do you play Bubble Shooter?

Aim above the launcher and release or tap to shoot. Match at least three touching bubbles of one color, then use wall bounces and floating-cluster drops to clear the board.

Why does a new row of bubbles appear?

The original game adds a row after five unmatched shots. A matching shot does not erase prior unmatched shots; the added row shifts existing bubbles closer to the bottom.

Can I switch the current and next bubbles?

No. This classic version displays the next bubble but has no swap control. Plan around the current color and the color that will follow it.

Are there levels, bombs, a timer or Undo?

No. This edition is a single-board survival game with no Undo. Clear every bubble to finish or lose when a bubble reaches the last row; tap the ending board for a new random game.

Can I save my Bubble Shooter progress?

Yes. Save keeps the complete board, score, colors and any shot or drop in progress. Guest saves stay in this browser; supported signed-in FoolFish sessions can sync account progress.
