About Hexa Sort
Hexa Sort is a free hexagonal color stack puzzle. Drop three-tray stacks, merge matching top colors, clear runs of 10 or more and reach each level’s score target.
How to play Hexa Sort
Press Play to start or continue. Drag a stack from one of the three tray positions onto an empty unblocked hex cell. Neighboring matching top-color runs slide together automatically. A run of 10 or more clears and earns points; later clears in the same drop multiply their points. Reach the target to win, then choose Next level. A full board loses.
The first three levels have 19 cells; later levels have 37. New stacks arrive when all three tray positions are used. Hammer removes one stack, Shuffle replaces remaining tray stacks once per tray, and Revive clears the messiest stacks once after a loss. These original browser boosters are free and require no ad.
Complete levels for cosmetic coins and buy or equip themes. Settings include sound and distinct color symbols. Reset progress needs confirmation. The entire level, seeded tray, score, coins and themes are saved; signed-in FoolFish saves use separate account scopes with explicit device conflicts.

Play Hexa Sort online
Play Hexa Sort online free. Drag colorful stacks onto a hexagonal board, combine matching top colors and chain 10-tile clears to reach each level’s target.
This single-player color sorting game puts three stacks in your tray and a score target above the board. Choose Play to start or continue, then plan where each stack will fit. There is no countdown, opponent or leaderboard; the puzzle is keeping enough open cells to build useful matches.
How to place stacks and match top colors
Drag a tray stack onto an empty, unblocked hexagon. A successful placement starts the board’s automatic matching sequence. Only a continuous run of the same color at the top of a stack can transfer to a neighboring stack with that top color.
Colors underneath stay in their original order until the tiles above them move away. Exposing a new top color can start another transfer within the same drop. Adjacent cells matter, so placing a stack beside several compatible tops can create more opportunities than filling a distant corner.
10-tile clears, chain multipliers and target scores
A top-color run with 10 or more tiles clears. Its first clear earns one point per removed tile. Later clears in the same placement receive increasing multipliers: the second clear earns twice its tile count, the third earns three times, and so on.
The level is won when the score reaches its target. You do not have to empty every stack or clear the whole board. Watch the target and the space available together: a large chain is helpful, but an isolated placement can consume a cell without exposing a useful match.
Seeded levels, three-stack trays and 19 or 37 cells
The first three numbered levels use a 19-cell hexagonal board. From level four the board expands to 37 cells. Later levels introduce additional colors, blocked cells and more mixed-color stacks; a blocked cell cannot receive a drop.
Using all three tray positions deals a new set. The initial numbered level is seeded, so its starting arrangement is reproducible. Later stacks depend on the current board and saved random state. Players who make different placements can therefore see different later trays, even when they start the same level.
Free Hammer and one Shuffle per tray
Hammer removes the selected board stack after you arm its button. It can open a cell when an awkward pile blocks your next placement. Shuffle replaces the stacks still available in the current tray; it does not refill tray positions you have already used.
Shuffle is available once per current set of three stacks. These browser tools use the game’s original immediate free rewards. They do not require watching an advertisement, paying money or joining another service.
Full-board loss, Revive and Try Again
You lose when every unblocked cell is occupied before the target is reached. After a loss, Revive is available once for that level and removes the messiest stacks to create space. It is a free browser action and keeps the same level in play.
Try Again restarts the same numbered level. Restart during an unfinished level asks for confirmation, so an accidental press does not immediately discard the board. Keep a few useful empty cells while playing: clearing a pile can help more than placing a stack wherever it first fits.
Cosmetic themes, earned coins and color symbols
Winning a level awards coins once. The first cosmetic theme is already owned; the other themes cost 250, 400, 600 and 900 earned coins. Buying a theme changes appearance rather than the board’s rules, scoring, color identities or booster limits. Coins cannot be bought or exchanged for cash.
The shop contains Basalt, Glacier, Ember, Jade Temple and Aurora. Choose the stone-board palette you prefer, then return to the same current level without changing its target or tile arrangement.
Settings include sound, haptics and optional color symbols. The symbols distinguish the eight possible color identities and remain visible on top tiles when enabled.
Saved boards, account checkpoints and more sorting puzzles
Browser saves keep the board, remaining tray, score, level result, random state, coins, owned themes and settings. Refreshing after an action restores the resolved position, so continuing does not award the same level win twice or replace the remaining tray with a fresh one.
Sign in before opening the game to use that FoolFish account’s checkpoint. Guest progress stays separate. If supported signed-in sessions have conflicting pending progress, choose the device or account save explicitly rather than merging two boards.

Common questions
How do I play Hexa Sort?
Drag one of three tray stacks onto an empty unblocked hexagon. Matching top-color runs combine automatically; runs of 10 or more clear. Reach the level’s target score to win.
Do I need to clear the whole board?
No. The objective is the score target. The level is lost if every unblocked cell becomes occupied before that target is reached.
Does everyone receive the same stacks?
The initial numbered level is seeded and reproducible. Later trays depend on board state and the saved random sequence, so different placements can produce different later stacks.
Are Hammer, Shuffle and Revive free?
Yes. This browser edition grants their original immediate rewards without an advertisement or purchase. Shuffle is once per tray; Revive is once after a level loss.
What do coins and themes change?
Coins unlock cosmetic board themes only. Theme selection does not change the rules, scoring or booster limits.
Can I continue on another device?
Supported signed-in FoolFish sessions can use the account checkpoint. Sign in before opening the game. Guest saves remain separate, and conflicting pending device saves require an explicit choice.
