How to play 2048
Move the tiles: Use the arrow keys, WASD, swipe on the board, or tap the on-screen direction buttons.
Merge matching numbers: Two matching tiles combine into one. Each tile can merge only once per move.
Build your score: Every merge adds the new tile’s value to your score. A new 2 or 4 appears after each successful move.
Reach 2048: Create a 2048 tile to win, then continue playing for an even higher score.
Try another approach: Press Z or tap Undo to reverse your last move. When no moves remain, undo or start a new game.
