How to play ArrowEscape

Click or tap an arrow to release it when its path is clear. Hitting another arrow costs one heart. Clear the board before you lose all three hearts or run out of time. Use hints, the eraser, and the grid to help with tricky puzzles. Zoom in and drag to explore larger boards.

Follow the arrow beyond its tip

Trace the exit direction before you click or tap. Another arrow along that route blocks the move even when the selected arrow looks close to an edge. Begin with an open exit, then inspect the space left behind.

Removing one arrow can unlock the next. Compare which blocked routes depend on it instead of choosing only the most prominent shape on the board.

Watch hearts, time and the available tools

Each level starts with three hearts and ten minutes. Selecting a blocked arrow costs a heart; running out of hearts or time ends that attempt. You can restart the level, but restarting does not refund tools you already spent.

Hint is available from level 1 and points out a removable arrow. Eraser unlocks at level 3 and removes an arrow you select. Grid unlocks at level 4 and makes the board easier to read. These tools have limited uses; check the displayed count before spending one.

Common questions

Why does an arrow not leave the board?

Its path may be blocked by another arrow. Follow the direction from its tip to the edge and remove the obstruction first.

Is this a multiplayer game?

No. ArrowEscape is a single-player puzzle about clearing the board.

Why are Eraser and Grid locked?

They unlock as you progress: Eraser at level 3 and Grid at level 4. Hint is available from the first level. Finishing a level unlocks the next one in the 30-level sequence.
