How to play Space Clicker
Start on Earth with one energy per click. The Shop sells stronger clicking power and producers that add energy automatically while the game runs.
Choose between a quick boost to manual clicking and a passive upgrade that can pay for later purchases. Costs increase each time you buy the same upgrade, so compare the next price with its production benefit.
Earth, Mars and Venus
Earth offers Campfire, Farm, Animal Farm, Windmill and Factory. Mars costs 1 million energy and adds Solar Panels, Oil Mine, Coal Power Plant, Nuclear Power Plant and Alien Technology. Venus costs 1 trillion and offers Iron Mine, Lava Power Plant and Future Technology.
The three areas share one resource balance. Unlocking another area spends that balance; it does not reset earlier purchases or create a separate multiplayer world.
Plan your clicker upgrades
Earth Clicker starts at 20 energy and doubles manual click power each time. Campfire starts at 100 and adds 1 energy per second. Mars and Venus have stronger base clicks and their own click multipliers.
Passive producer costs grow by a factor of 1.15; displayed purchase prices use the original project’s floor rounding. Clicking upgrades can be bought 10 times and passive upgrades 1,000 times each.
Space Clicker upgrade strategy
Check the energy or oxygen added by a producer against its next purchase cost. The first passive upgrade earns one resource per second, while the first clicking upgrade doubles each manual reward. Your choice depends on whether you want to keep tapping or let the game run.
Save some resources for the next area when its unlock becomes practical. Earlier producers continue contributing after you move, and the three areas use the same balance. This game has no prestige reset or finite ending.
Space Clicker browser controls
Click or tap the central biome or planet; Space also generates the current area’s click reward. Open Shop to buy upgrades, drag its scrollbar or use the arrow keys to inspect the list, and use the bottom arrows to change areas. The speaker controls sound and the list button shows statistics.
The original landscape stage fits inside the player on phones, tablets and computers. Portrait screens may have space above or below the stage so shop controls and planets keep their original proportions.
Save resources and continue your game
Browser checkpoints preserve resources, unlocked areas and upgrade counts. Sign in on FoolFish before opening the game for account checkpoints. Pausing stops production, and this edition does not calculate income for time spent outside the game.
Common questions
Is Space Clicker free to play?

How do I unlock the second and third areas?
Mars costs 1 million energy and Venus costs 1 trillion. Use the arrows to view the locked planet and click its unlock button once you have enough energy.

Is there online multiplayer?
