RNGdle guide: daily rolls, badges and entropy points
A daily random number game makes a small ritual out of chance. Generate an integer, watch its digits reveal, then inspect the patterns that earn entropy points. RNGdle follows this daily format on FoolFish; this guide explains the live rules and account features.
What is RNGdle?
RNG means random number generator. RNGdle is a daily browser game where each player generates a number from 0 to 1,000,000 and receives badges for its properties. It is a game of discovering patterns, rather than guessing a shared answer.
Generate a daily number, discover mathematical patterns, collect badges and compare entropy points on the leaderboard.

How to play the daily number game
The main screen has one central Generate button. The number reveals digit by digit. Next come the badge awards, EP total and overall rarity. You do not choose, aim or place the digits.
- Sign in before generating if you want this roll saved to your account and included on the leaderboard. Guest play is available without an account.
- Press Generate once. Every integer from 0 through 1,000,000 has the same chance.
- Read the Badge Breakdown. Highlighted digits show a repeated pair, a sequence, an embedded number or another matching rule. Some mathematical badges show a calculation instead.
- Share the result. The countdown tells you when the next UTC day starts.
233 badges: primes, palindromes and repeating digits
Prime numbers have exactly two positive divisors. A palindrome reads identically in either direction. A number can also be a square, Fibonacci value, alternating parity sequence or a repeated block of digits. These properties can overlap.
Digits are evaluated without extra leading zeroes. The number 7 is treated as 7, not 000007. Single-digit numbers count as palindromes. Zero has its own exact-number badge and is included in the perfect-power rules.
For a concrete result, 147458 matches 13 badges and earns 5,507 EP. Its digits alternate odd and even. The two 4s form a Hopscotch pattern. It also contains exactly one 1, 5, 7 and 8, along with other matching properties.
How EP and badge families work
For each badge, probability means the fraction of the 1,000,001 possible numbers that match its rule. EP is round(100 ÷ probability). A common property therefore gives fewer points than a rare one.
Related badges belong to families. Only the highest-scoring matched badge in each family contributes to the roll total. The lower family badges are still earned and appear beneath it in the breakdown. Unrelated scoring badges add together.
Do not multiply the probabilities of overlapping badges to estimate a result. Many properties are related. RNGdle evaluates every possible number during its build to calculate overall score percentiles.
What does Top 1% mean?
Your roll is ranked against all possible EP totals, not against the number of people who happened to play today. The percentile counts outcomes with strictly lower scores. Equal scores share the same percentile.
Number tiers are Trash below the 1st percentile, Common below the 50th, Uncommon below the 75th, Rare below the 90th, Epic below the 95th, Anomaly below the 99th, and Mythic from the 99th percentile. Badge tiers are a separate classification based on each badge’s EP.
Each exact number has a 1 in 1,000,001 chance. A result such as 777777 has the same individual draw probability as 482106. Its visible patterns are what make its badge score different.
Daily reset, rerolls and saved results
The next roll unlocks at 00:00 UTC. Players receive individual random numbers, rather than a universal answer for the date. Refreshing restores the current daily result; it does not provide another legitimate roll.
There is no unlimited practice mode or paid reroll in this version. Earlier results do not make a particular number due. Waiting, tapping differently or using a supposed RNG game solver cannot force a rare result.
Accounts, collections and leaderboards
A guest result stays in that browser for the current day. It is not added retroactively to an account. Sign in before generating to keep a server-recorded roll, earn lifetime EP and build a badge collection.
FoolFish generates account rolls on its server and calculates EP from the reviewed rules. Repeated requests recover the same daily roll. Today, This Week, All-Time and Badges provide different leaderboard views. The weekly window starts on Monday at 00:00 UTC.
The game supports mouse, keyboard and touch. Settings offers Light, System and Dark themes. Reduced-motion preferences remove the long reveal. On a small screen, the result and badge list use a single vertical column.
About the current version
This guide describes version 1.2.0. Earlier versions used a different point formula. Those scores are archived separately and do not count as EP in the current rules. Previous local records can be exported from Settings when an archive is available.
Common questions
Can I reroll today’s number?
No. There is one roll per UTC day. Refreshing restores the result; there are no paid rerolls or unlimited practice draws.
Do all earned badges add EP?
No. Only the highest-scoring badge in a matched family adds EP. Lower family badges remain earned. Unrelated scoring badges stack.
Can I sign in after rolling to save the guest result?
No. Sign in before generating to save a roll to your account. A guest result cannot be claimed afterwards.
Is there a daily answer or solver?
There is no shared answer. Each player receives an independently generated number, and a solver cannot improve the outcome.
