About Fish Four in a Row
Play Fish Four in a Row online free. Drop colorful fish discs into an ocean board and connect four in a line. Choose six computer levels or two players on one device, with hints, undo and saved progress.
How to play Fish Four in a Row
Choose a column to drop a disc into its lowest empty space. Red and blue alternate turns on a seven-column, six-row board.
Connect at least four of your discs horizontally, vertically or diagonally to win. A full board without a winning line is a draw. Full columns cannot be played.
Choose Beginner, Casual, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert or Master computer play, or take turns with a friend on one device. Click, tap, or use Tab and Enter on a column. Hint suggests a move; Undo takes back a local move or your turn and the computer reply.
Optional 20-, 30- or 60-second turn timers pause in menus and when the page is hidden. Running out of time loses the round. Play again alternates who starts.
Continue game restores progress in this browser. Sign in on FoolFish before opening for account checkpoints. This version uses same-device multiplayer, not remote rooms.

Play Fish Four in a Row online
Fish Four in a Row is a fish-themed strategy board game with coral-red and lagoon-blue fish tokens. Its ocean artwork changes the look, while the seven-column, six-row board follows the same four-in-a-line rules as the standard edition. Start a computer game at one of six levels, or share the same screen with a friend. There is no download or sign-up requirement for local play.
How to play Fish Four in a Row
Choose a column by clicking or tapping it. Your disc falls to the lowest available space, so you cannot place it in mid-air or move a disc already on the board. The other player then takes a turn. A column containing six discs is full and cannot accept another move. Red starts a new game; Play again alternates the opening player.
Four ways to complete a winning line
Connect four or more of your own discs in a horizontal row, a vertical column, or either diagonal direction. Only consecutive matching discs count: an empty space or an opposing disc breaks the line. Winning discs are highlighted when the round ends. If all forty-two spaces fill without a winning line, the result is a draw.
Four in a Row strategy: look for two threats
Before dropping a disc, check whether either player can win on the next turn. Three connected discs are dangerous only when a legal next drop can complete their line. Central columns participate in more lines than edge columns. As the stacks grow, try to create two separate winning drops at once so that your opponent cannot block both. Hint marks a suggested column and leaves the final choice to you.
Play against the computer or a friend
Computer play offers Beginner, Casual, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert and Master. Beginner chooses legal moves at random; higher levels recognize immediate wins and blocks, then search farther ahead. For two people, choose Play with a friend and take turns on the same device. Undo removes one move in local play, or your turn together with the computer reply. Optional turn clocks allow twenty, thirty or sixty seconds; reaching zero loses the round.
Mobile controls, sound and saved games
Click or tap a column, or use Tab and Enter. Learn to play walks through gravity, winning lines, threats and controls. Sound can be switched off in the top bar. Progress is saved in this browser, including a committed move whose drop animation is interrupted. Sign in on FoolFish before opening the game for account checkpoints. The timer pauses in menus and hidden tabs. This release does not connect separate devices for live multiplayer.
Common questions
Can I play Fish Four in a Row against the computer?
Yes. Choose one of six levels from Beginner to Master, or play with a friend on the same device.
Do diagonal lines count?
Yes. Four consecutive matching discs win horizontally, vertically, or along either diagonal.
Can a game end in a draw?
Yes. If all 42 spaces are filled without a four-disc line, the round is a draw.
Does the fish theme change the rules?
No. Fish Four in a Row and the standard version share the same rules, computer logic and save behavior.
