About Fish Playground Idle
Build one living reef in Fish Playground Idle, an original idle fish game by FoolFish Games. Merge fish on the same beds where they gather shells, then turn the water channels underneath them to improve their production. Fish size, placement, water routes and oxygen pressure all affect the same aquarium economy. Start with three Sunny Guppies and eight open beds. Combine equal-level fish to discover eight species, then grow the reef to sixteen beds. A merged fish has a higher base production, while its location determines how efficiently it can work. Water enters from the top-left bed. Connect matching channel edges to reach your fish, shorten routes for valuable species and upgrade the oxygen pump when pressure falls. Disconnected fish rest at 15% of their base rate. This is one persistent reef: there is no separate pipe minigame or temporary puzzle bonus. Spend earned shells on new guppies, pump capacity and deeper reef rows. Milestone rewards arrive automatically as your aquarium grows. Away earnings use half the saved reef rate for up to eight hours. Browser-local saves support JSON export and import; signing into FoolFish does not enable cloud saves. The redesigned version keeps the previous prototype save separate. This original FoolFish game is not affiliated with Google Playground.
How to play Fish Playground Idle
Start with the guided first reef. Follow highlighted controls to connect water, merge fish and hatch before idle earnings begin. Replay safely from Help.
Fish mode: tap one fish, then another of the same level to merge. Tap an empty bed to move it. Desktop dragging also works.
Current mode: tap any open bed to rotate its channel clockwise. Matching edges carry water from the left inlet.
First move: turn the second bed in the top row once to connect the guppy below.
Hatch guppies, expand the reef and upgrade the pump with shells. Check oxygen pressure before upgrading.
Keyboard: Tab to a tool or bed, then Enter or Space.
Save and settings offers local JSON backup export and import. Open Help for the complete strategy guide.
