How to play CatClash
- Swap neighboring cats by tapping two tiles or swiping.
- Match 3 or more identical cats in a row or column to clear them and collect fish treats.
- Complete every goal before you run out of moves. Match over boxes to remove their layers and free trapped cats.
- Create special tiles: match 4 for a line-clearing paw, match a T or L shape for a yarn bomb, or match 5 in a straight line for a rainbow bell.
- Combine two specials for a bigger clearing effect!
- Use your boosters: Helping Paw clears a chosen tile, Shuffle rearranges the board, and Hint highlights a possible move.
- Manage your energy: each new attempt costs 1 energy. Energy restores by 1 every 30 minutes, up to 10. Resuming an unfinished round is free.

Read the remaining goal before swapping. A match over a layered box can free a trapped cat; a match elsewhere may clear tiles without advancing that objective.
Recognize the special-tile patterns
Four cats create a line-clearing paw. T and L matches create a yarn bomb, while five in a straight line create a rainbow bell. Look for these shapes before settling for a simple match of three.
