About Memory Match

Play Memory Match online on FoolFish Games and find a little ocean of matching friends. Turn over two cards at a time, remember where the fish, shells and starfish are hiding, and reunite every pair. Choose a 6-pair Lagoon, 8-pair Reef or 12-pair Deep Sea board. Each new round shuffles the cards, while your move count, active play time and best move score help you improve at your own pace. This free memory game needs no download or registration. Play with a mouse, Chromebook trackpad, touch controls or keyboard, pause for a break, and continue the board saved in your browser. Memory Match is a quick Chromebook browser game for a school or work break: choose six pairs for a short round, or twelve for a bigger challenge.

How to play Memory Match

Turn over a card, then choose a second card. Matching icons stay visible. Different icons turn face down after a short delay, so remember their locations and try another pair. Each two-card attempt counts as one move. Find all pairs to finish. Choose 6, 8 or 12 pairs for a new challenge; fewer moves is better. New game shuffles a fresh board. Pause freezes the timer and prevents flips.

Mouse, trackpad or touch: click or tap a card. Keyboard: Tab reaches a card, arrow keys move focus, and Enter or Space flips it. Use the on-screen board selector, New game, Pause, sound and help buttons.

Find two pairs, then explore a bigger ocean

Memory Match begins with four cards hiding two pairs of ocean pictures. Turn one card, then another to look for its partner. Matching pictures stay revealed; different pictures turn back over. Finish both pairs to move on to Shallow Reef, where four pairs give you more positions to remember.

A small matching game with room to improve

Try to remember a picture and its position together. When you reveal a card you have seen before, use that memory to find its partner rather than turning another unknown card. The later boards add more pairs after the first small rounds, so the challenge grows as you become familiar with the pictures.

FoolFish Games brings this memory matching game to the browser without a separate game installation. For another visual puzzle, fit the shapes in Tangram, or browse the Chromebook games collection for a different short session.
