TriPeaks Solitaire is a one-deck card game built around three overlapping peaks. Twenty-eight cards form the tableau, 23 remain in the stock and one starts the waste pile. Remove the peak cards by playing one rank higher or lower than the current waste card. Each cleared round leads to a fresh deal while your score carries forward.

TriPeaks Solitaire rules: one higher or lower

You can place a 6 or an 8 on a 7, regardless of suit or color. An ace connects to both a 2 and a king, so a sequence can wrap through queen, king, ace and 2. Equal ranks do not match.

Only uncovered cards can be played. Remove both cards beneath a face-down card to turn it over. The three peaks overlap along the lower rows, so one move may help unlock more than one route upward.

Using the stock and the wild card

Draw from the stock when the waste card does not give you the route you want. Drawing starts a new card run. This edition has 23 stock cards and no stock recycling: once a card is covered in the waste, you cannot select it again.

Each round includes one wild card. Play it, then choose any uncovered card to continue. It preserves your run, but finishing without using it earns an extra 5,000 points. Undo can reverse the last move once; make another move to enable it again.

TriPeaks scoring, streaks and round bonuses

The first card in a run earns 200 points, the next 400, then 600 and so on. Removing each of the three peak tops adds 10,000 points. Drawing a stock card resets the run; playing the wild card does not.

After all 28 peak cards are gone, collect the remaining time bonus, 1,000 points per stock card left, 5,000 for an unused wild and 1,000 multiplied by the round number. Next round keeps the total and gives you a new shuffle.

The time bonus starts at 20,000 and falls to zero over two minutes. Reaching zero does not end the game. Menus and pause stop the countdown. When the stock is empty, Take points lets you finish the run; you may still play available cards or the wild first.

TriPeaks Solitaire strategy: plan a longer run

Before taking an obvious card, inspect both higher and lower options. A short detour can uncover a useful rank and keep a run alive. When two exposed cards have the same rank, compare the cards they cover rather than choosing at random.

Save the wild for a move that opens a blocked section or starts a long sequence. Its immediate benefit can outweigh the unused-wild bonus, but spending it just before drawing a new stock card often wastes the opportunity. Not every shuffle is guaranteed to be winnable.

Controls, saved games and high scores

Click or tap an open card to play it. Use Next to draw, Wild to choose any open rank and Undo to reverse the last action. Keyboard users can focus card buttons and press Enter. Options includes sound effects and simple card faces.
