Fish Spider Solitaire puts familiar Spider rules on an ocean table. Crowned reef fish decorate the court cards, while standard ranks and suits stay visible for clear decisions. Two decks make 104 cards, spread across ten columns and five stock deals. Collect eight same-suit king-to-ace runs to finish the game.

Fish Spider Solitaire rules: placement and movable runs

A card may land on any exposed card one rank higher. For example, a red nine can go on a black ten. That mixed-suit stack is legal, but it cannot move together as a group. To move several cards at once, every card in the selected run must descend by one rank and share the same suit. Empty columns accept any movable card or ordered run.

Choose 1 Suit, 2 Suits or 4 Suits

One Suit uses spades throughout, so every correctly ordered sequence can move together. Two Suits adds hearts and makes suit separation part of the challenge. Four Suits uses spades, hearts, clubs and diamonds. All modes have the same 104-card total, ten columns, five stock deals and eight-run objective. Change the mode from New Game; starting another deal replaces the current board.

Fish artwork does not change card strength or matching rules. A king remains a king, and suit symbols determine whether a run can move together.

When to deal a new row

A stock click adds one face-up card to each of the ten columns. Fill empty columns first: dealing is blocked while any column is empty. Before using the stock, look for moves that expose hidden cards or bring a same-suit run closer to completion. Empty columns are useful temporary space, but you must refill them before the next deal.

Score, undo and the end of a deal

The score begins at 500. A move or stock deal costs one point, and collecting a full run adds 100. Undo removes a collected-run reward if necessary and costs another point; it does not refund all previous penalties. The clock records elapsed time without ending the game. A blocked board with no stock can be undone or restarted. Random deals are not guaranteed wins.

Controls and saved progress

Drag a card or valid run to choose its destination. Tapping a card tries a legal move, favoring a matching suit; another tap can try a different target. Hint highlights an option, H requests a hint and Ctrl/Cmd+Z undoes. The current board and original deal are saved in this browser. Reloading restores the board, but the undo history starts fresh. This version does not offer cross-device cloud saves. An optional deal number in New Game makes a layout repeatable.
